Ordering Info
Now that you have seen our inventory and you would like to order one of our uniforms here is what you need to do.
1. Notify us in writing that you are interested in purchasing uniforms along with all of the specifications. This can be done either by coming into a physical Breakdown Athletics retail store or by meeting with a field rep. If you are not able to have in person contact we can take your order over the phone and then fax it to you for approval.
2. Submit a deposit. Under no circumstances will we begin any work without a deposit. We guarantee our delivery. It is something that we take seriously therefore we will not compromise with this part of the process. We encourage all customers to be diligent and prompt in satisfying these requirements in order to assure your custom uniform orders are produced and ship prior to the date that they are needed.
3. Publicly funded institutions are eligible for credit with Breakdown Athletics. Submit an official Purchase Order signed by the head of your organization for your order to be considered for credit. For Youth, Recreational and all other non institutional customers, a 50% initial deposit is required in order to get the order released to production. Prior to the shipment of completed custom uniform orders, the balance of 50% must be paid in full along with applicable shipping charges.
4. Final Design and Roster Information – all final information with respect to uniform design, features, decoration and roster must be submitted. No orders will be started until all such information is finalized and approved.
Shipping and Handling Costs
Breakdown Athletics charges a flat shipping fee on all orders. That fee is determined by the quantity of each order. All orders over $10,000(Ten Thousand) will be shipped at no cost.
Sample Policy
Samples
If you are placing an order over $5,000 we will make you a sample at no cost. We will alter and adjust your sample until it is EXACTLY what you want. We will not make any samples until you have decided that you want to do business with us and your deposit has been received.
Delivery Guarantee
Our delivery procedure is very simple. Breakdown Athletics Guarantees Delivery. We are not about excuses. If your product is not delivered on the date agreed upon you do not have to pay us the remaining balance. It’s that simple. Other companies will talk the talk but we actually put our money where our mouth is.
Inspect Merchandise at time of delivery
All shipments must be inspected and checked at the time of delivery. Any questions regarding the merchandise must be reported to Breakdown Athletics, in writing within 3 days of receipt of the order.
Loss or damage in transit
The common carrier assumes the liability for the shipment once the order has been shipped to the customer. The customer is responsible for checking its shipment upon delivery for total carton count and condition. The customer should note any damages, shortages in the total carton count or evidence of tampering on the bill of lading. Breakdown Athletics is not responsible for damages while in transit. Claims for loss or damage while in transit do not alleviate the customer’s responsibility for payment in accordance with the stated terms. Breakdown Athletics will assist you in every way possible in your claim against the shipping company.
Returns
Returns for custom made uniforms, spirit wear and other products will not be accepted unless authorized in advance by a Breakdown Athletics representative. Merchandise is non-returnable except for defect in manufacturing. Breakdown Athletics will not be responsible for normal wear and tear or problems caused by customer negligence, including improper washing of the uniforms. ALL APPROVED MERCHANDISE MUST BE RETURNED FREIGHT PREPAID AND MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN INVOICE AND PURCHASE ORDER NUMBER. NO CALL TAGS WILL BE ISSUED. NO REFUND ON SHIPPING CHARGES.
STATEMENT OF POLICY
THE USER OF EQUIPMENT PRODUCTS CONTAINED? HEREIN ASSUMES ALL RISKS ENTAILED IN ATHLETIC ACTIVITY, SINCE BREAKDOWN ATHLETICS CANNOT GUARANTEE FREEDOM FROM INJURY. USE OF THIS UNIFORM PRODUCT CANNOT PREVENT SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH. SPORTING EVENTS ARE DANGEROUS IN NATURE, AND THE PARTICIPANT ASSUMES ALL RISKS THEREIN. All uniforms are sold on this condition, and by no means can any company representative waive or alter this position.
Warranty
We guarantee to each purchaser of custom uniforms that it will give satisfaction when used for the purpose intended under fair treatment and ordinary conditions unless otherwise stated herein. We agree to REPAIR or REPLACE, free of charge, any guaranteed article which proves defective in workmanship or material, when subject to fair treatment FOR A PERIOD OF 2 YEARS, provided such article is returned to us, transportation charges prepaid. Your name and address must be on the package.
